where dignity never grows old

About Us Chris I keep the farm running. I feed and water the horses every day. I keep the pastures mowed down, put out grass seed and fertilizer, and mend the fences when Mother Natures blows trees down on them. Most of my time away from work as a superintendent for a construction company is spent building or fixing something around the farm. I built our house, a new hay barn, several shelters, and over 90% of the fences on the farm. I also completely remodeled our main barn. When I make the time to enjoy my horses, I trail ride, rope the occasional calf, and attend as many horsemanship clinics as possible. When I ride, I am spending time with my wonderful wife and beautiful daughter. Life doesn't get any better than that.
Meredith I have been enamored by horses as long as I can remember. I took riding lessons all through my childhood. As a young adult, I bought my first horse, Annie, and things have snowballed from there. Annie has been my greatest teacher. We have done a little of a lot of different things: combined training, dressage, cow working, ranch roping, countless horsemanship clinics, and I have son, Andrew. Annie is now in her upper twenties and is semi retired. I have been teaching beginner riding lessons since 1998. I have a Bachelors degree in Child Development and Family Relations from UNC-Greensboro. I am certified in the American Red Cross Community CPR, First-aid, and Safety Program. Chris and I have seven horses, two ponies, two Golden Retrievers, and a preschool aged daughter, Dylan. That keeps me busy. I am fortunate to get to stay at home on the farm and take care of everyone. I have very good childcare available allowing me to oversee the health care of all the horses, hold for the vet, farrier, and dentist. I also continue to receive weekly instruction in dressage, and teach beginner riding lessons. My life is a dream come true.
Chris and I have five horses, two ponies, two Golden Retrievers, and a one-year-old daughter, Dylan. That keeps me busy. I am very fortunate to get to stay at home on the farm and take care of everyone. I am also very lucky to have a stay at home mother around the corner who baby-sits Dylan, which allows me to oversee the health care of the horses, hold for the vet, farrier, and dentist. I also teach a couple of lessons a week, ride, and occasionally drive one of my ponies. My life is a dream come true. |
